University of Virginia Clinical Faculty, Division of Adolescent Medicine, Department of Pediatrics in Charlottesville, Virginia

The University of Virginia’s Department of Pediatrics, Division of Adolescent Medicine, seeks candidates for a full-time faculty member at Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor rank. Salary, rank, and tenure status are dependent upon qualifications and experience. The incumbent will see patients and mentor trainees in a variety of clinical settings that could include our Teen and Young Adult Center, Transgender Health clinic, Eating Disorders clinic, and adolescent medicine consult service. All Adolescent Medicine faculty members share call and weekend/holiday coverage. There are also exciting opportunities in the Division’s growing research, advocacy, and quality improvement activities.

The University of Virginia, School of Medicine and affiliated UVA Health form the premier medical and research institution in the Commonwealth of Virginia and have a rich tradition of discovery, translational, clinical and health services/outcomes-based research grounded in a culture of collaboration and service. Candidates must have an MD or DO degree and be board-certified/board-eligible in adolescent medicine. The position requires excellent clinical and teaching skills and experience necessary to precept residents and medical students.
