University of Virginia Lab Manager, Senior - Core Labs in Charlottesville, Virginia

Oversees multiple units of personnel in a combined activity within the Medical Center Laboratories

  • Holds staff accountable for meeting external and/or internal customers needs.

  • In addition to the above job responsibilities, other duties may be assigned.

Position Compensation Range: $87,755.20 - $140,400.00 Annual

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology or related field required.

Experience: 5 years of increasing managerial/supervisory responsibility in a complex health environment.

Licensure: National certification required, MLS or MT ASCP preferred. May require a valid Virginia Driver's License.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings, and programs.
